Construction Project Engineer Intern
About The Position
Inland Group is seeking Construction Management Interns to join their team in Spokane, WA for the summer of 2027. This 12-week summer internship is designed to provide comprehensive exposure to all phases of the project management process. Interns will collaborate with project teams on tasks such as takeoffs, estimating, submittals, bidding, scheduling, and project turnover. The internship includes visits to active construction sites to offer insight into field team operations and jobsite management. Additionally, interns will gain exposure to the development and property management aspects of the business, including design and property operations. The program aims to provide valuable experience within a collaborative and energetic team, with opportunities for company and industry events to foster career development in construction management.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Program, Construction Management or similar major preferred.
- Must be a team player who takes a “we over me” approach to building and sustaining relationships with others.
- Must be determined, ambitious, and self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills; must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
- Valid driver’s license and insured, operable vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with project teams on takeoffs, estimating, submittals, bidding, scheduling, project turnover, etc.
- Gain insight into the inner workings of field teams by visiting numerous active construction sites.
- Observe firsthand how a jobsite is managed.
- Gain exposure to the development and property management sides of the business, including design and property operations.
