About The Position

This role is for an Environmental Project Director who will be responsible for generating estimates, winning clients, and owning projects from the initial site walk to the final collection of funds. The ideal candidate builds business through strong relationships and quality work, rather than high-pressure tactics. The position emphasizes earning trust and delivering exceptional service.

Requirements

  • Active Colorado Asbestos Supervisor license
  • Active Colorado Methamphetamine Supervisor license
  • 7+ years of experience estimating and managing abatement projects in Colorado
  • Valid Colorado driver's license and a record that meets Spyder requirements
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs
  • Ability to climb ladders
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions while using full PPE as required per project
  • Regular travel between job sites

Nice To Haves

  • Water and fire damage mitigation experience
  • Equipment Operator Certifications
  • 4-year degree, preferably in Construction, Project Management, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Generate and manage technical estimates on company leads and personal referral networks to meet or exceed sales and profitability goals.
  • Conduct site walks, accurately scope repairs, and build client relationships for repeat business.
  • Manage client relationships from project kickoff through closeout, ensuring client satisfaction through consistent communication and reliable interactions.
  • Prepare accurate proposals, negotiate change orders with owners, architects, and clients, and maintain honest budgets and financial projections.
  • Lead project kickoffs, internal pre-construction meetings, and Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings to align the production team on scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Serve as an escalation point for project managers, resolving scope disputes and client issues, and supporting the growth of PMs.
  • Submit RFIs and monthly pay applications.
  • Partner with accounting on down payments and receivables.
  • Build complete job folders.
  • Attend project walks through demo, rough, punch, and final stages.
