About The Position

The Project Coordinator will provide support and assistance to the Project Teams and will be responsible for coordinating the activities of a project to ensure cost, schedule, and quality standards are met. This will include all routine on-site project administration, scheduling, and engineering elements. Plans, coordinates, and manages on-site construction engineering activities and schedules and communicates with the team. Assists in the preparation of monthly pay estimates and updates the Project CPM schedule. Coordinates and updates project budgets, change orders and cost reports for project management review and approval.

Nice To Haves

  • BA degree in Construction Management or in Civil Engineering
  • Experience in Heavy Civil construction

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and assistance to Project Teams.
  • Coordinate project activities to ensure cost, schedule, and quality standards are met.
  • Manage routine on-site project administration, scheduling, and engineering elements.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage on-site construction engineering activities and schedules.
  • Communicate with the project team.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly pay estimates.
  • Update the Project CPM schedule.
  • Coordinate and update project budgets, change orders, and cost reports for project management review and approval.
  • Serve as the point person for all field employees’ new hire and benefit paperwork.
  • Track and process invoices for Subcontractors and material providers.
  • Review invoices and change order requests against contract documents.
  • Code invoices as requested by the Project Manager.
  • Address customer issues/concerns as they arise.
  • Assist with reviewing payroll reports, separating sub-contractor employees, and submitting that time to sub-contractors.
  • Add employees and forms to the HCSS system and manage work authorization.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.
