About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Underground Construction Miner to join our team. In this role, you will support underground development and infrastructure projects, ensuring work is completed efficiently and in compliance with all safety and operational standards. You are a hands-on, dependable worker who takes pride in maintaining a safe and productive work environment. You have strong problem-solving skills, work well independently and as part of a team, and are committed to following best practices in underground construction and safety.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of underground mining or construction experience
  • Experience with ground support installation (bolting, screening, shotcrete)
  • Familiarity with underground construction practices and mine services installation
  • Valid Underground Common Core (e.g., in Ontario) or equivalent certification
  • Strong understanding of mine safety regulations and procedures
  • Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and confined spaces

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operating underground equipment is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain underground infrastructure including ground support systems, ventilation, and services
  • Perform scaling, rock bolting, screen installation, and shotcrete application
  • Construct and maintain mine services such as water lines, air lines, and electrical supports
  • Operate underground equipment such as bolters, scissor decks, and utility vehicles
  • Conduct workplace inspections and identify potential hazards
  • Follow all safety procedures, policies, and regulations at all times
  • Work collaboratively with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams
