About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to perform maintenance, repairs, and service on John Deere and Caterpillar equipment. This role is a full-time travelling position to various project sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, especially in heavy equipment, along with experience in welding and fabricating. We are a rapidly growing construction company that values skill, reliability, and pride in workmanship. Requirements

• 3+ years of experience repairing and maintaining heavy construction equipment.
• Experience using Caterpillar ET and John Deere Service Advisor diagnostic tools.
• Proficient in welding and fabricating techniques.
• Ability to work independently, outdoors, and lift heavy parts or tools.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and punctual.
• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) in order to drive company service truck.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems, as well as undercarriages.
• Fabricate and weld parts, components, and attachments as needed.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service records.
• Coordinate with field crews and supervisors to prioritize equipment repairs and minimize downtime.
