About The Position

Braun Intertec is seeking experienced Construction Materials Technicians to join their team. This is a traveling position working on Data Centers, Commercial Warehouses, and other remote projects. The ideal candidate is dependable, flexible, enjoys being part of a team, and is looking for a traveling position. This role requires working overtime/weekends and outdoors in varying weather conditions. The technician will perform routine inspections and testing of construction materials in the field to verify conformance to construction plans, contract documents, and project specifications.

Requirements

A valid driver's license and a good driving history
Ability to travel extensively, will work at remote projects sites throughout the US
Willingness to work long hours and weekends as required
Technical expertise in electronic field data collection
Able to interpret plans and specifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to lift 50 pounds
High School diploma or equivalent
1-3 years of construction materials testing experience
ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician Grade I

Responsibilities

Perform concrete and compaction testing on commercial construction projects
Prepare daily reports on testing and daily activities
Report observations and test data with accuracy and completeness
Communicate test results with project leads and site superintendents/foreman
Work with project engineers and clients to ensure that client specifications are followed
