About The Position

DIHO Consulting USA is seeking qualified applicants for a Mid-Level Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Technician position in Corpus Christi, TX. This role primarily involves performing field testing and inspection of construction materials, including soils, concrete, asphalt, and pile monitoring, to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of Construction Materials Testing experience
• ACI certification (required)
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a DISA drug screen
• Ability to pass a background check
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Must be able to lift and carry testing equipment and materials
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and varying schedules as project needs require
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Nice To Haves

• NICET certification
• ICC certification
• TxDOT Certifications
• TWIC Card preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing and inspection activities, including: Concrete testing (slump, air content, temperature, unit weight, and concrete cylinders), Soil compaction testing using Nuclear Density Gauge or Sand Cone methods, Asphalt density testing, Pavement core sampling, Pile monitoring and documentation, Field sampling of construction materials, Quality control and compliance inspections
• Prepare accurate and timely field reports and testing documentation
• Communicate daily with dispatch, project managers, and clients
• Maintain positive working relationships with contractors, engineers, and project personnel
• Arrive at assigned job sites on time and prepared each day
• Follow all company safety procedures and operational protocols
• Operate company equipment safely and responsibly
• Communicate project updates and field observations to management
