Construction Materials Testing Technician Level I/II
About The Position
Kleinfelder's Construction Services team is looking for a Field Construction Materials Testing Technician Level I/II to join our Northern California Team with offices in Hayward, Fresno, and Stockton, CA. This position offers a dynamic work environment, the opportunity to work on multiple high-profile projects, and be part of an industry leading company. The role involves providing high-level inspection and testing services to a diverse client base on projects throughout California. While much of the work is local to the Office Area assigned, travel throughout Northern California will be required.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of construction materials testing experience (for Technician II).
- At least four field-oriented Certifications (Caltrans, ACI, NICET) (for Technician II).
- Ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds (22.68 kg) repetitively and over 50 pounds (22.68 kg) using handling equipment (hand truck, etc.).
- Ability to operate heavy equipment as necessary (i.e., ultrasonic non-destructive testing machine, concrete cylinder press, etc.).
- Ability to maintain safe mobility over construction obstacles by foot and ladder, traversing over rough broken ground and steep surfaces.
- Ability to work outside in variable weather at field sites and in labs with various levels of safety protection required.
- Ability to travel throughout Northern California.
