About The Position
SOCOTEC has openings for Construction Materials Testing Field and Lab Assistant Interns in Wenatchee and Redmond, WA. The successful candidate will work alongside field and laboratory technicians in the performance of construction materials field and lab testing and construction observation. Duties may also include assisting geotechnical engineers and project managers with any other aspects of field operations needed.
Requirements
- Current enrollment in a Civil Engineering, Geology, or Construction-related degree or certificate program
- Strong communication skills
- Able to perform a wide range of physical activities including lifting up to 50 pounds of equipment on occasion
- Valid driver's license and good driving record is required
Responsibilities
- Perform construction materials field and lab testing.
- Perform construction observation.
- Assist geotechnical engineers and project managers with field operations.
