The CMS Project Engineer/Consultant serves as a key leader at the intersection of project delivery, technical oversight, and business growth. From an operational perspective, the CMS Project Engineer/Consultant is responsible for managing projects from planning through execution, including scheduling, resource coordination, quality control, and client communication. The role includes leading site visits, providing technical consultation, and reviewing reports and project deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable standards. This role also includes leadership responsibilities, with a strong emphasis on mentoring and developing staff. They will guide junior and developing team members, helping them build technical skills, project management capabilities, and confidence in field and client-facing environments. This position is critical to SME’s strategy of strengthening our presence in the northern Indiana market.
