About The Position

Kleinfelder's Construction Services team is looking for a Laboratory Construction Materials Testing Technician to join their Mechanicsburg, PA office. This role involves performing routine to complex testing of construction materials in the laboratory to verify conformance to construction plans, specifications, and geotechnical engineering purposes. The technician will test soils, asphalt, aggregates, and concrete materials. The company is a recognized industry leader with over 25 accredited laboratories and provides construction inspection and material testing services to a wide range of clients. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be detail-oriented.
• Must be able to use a computer.
• General knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
• Must have own vehicle, a valid driver's license, and clean driving record required.

• ACI Concrete Strength Testing Technician - Grade I
• ACI Aggregate Testing Technician
• ACI Aggregate Base Testing Technician
• Ability to obtain preferred certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine to complex testing of construction materials in the laboratory.
• Verify conformance to construction plans and specifications.
• Perform testing for geotechnical engineering purposes.
• Test soils, asphalt, aggregates, and concrete materials.
• Perform various tasks at the discretion of the supervisor.
• Travel locally as required to fulfill local project assignments.
