About The Position

Braun Intertec is seeking an Entry-Level Materials Laboratory Testing Technician to join our Bloomington, MN office. The primary responsibility of the position is to receive and prepare concrete, soil, and aggregate specimens and prepare them for testing for the next shift. Candidates should be able to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis, take direction and work well with a team. No experience required. We will train you.

Requirements

• A demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical concepts
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A safety focus and attention to detail
• A High School diploma or equivalent
• A valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• The ability to lift 50+ pounds

Nice To Haves

• Related work experience in materials testing or construction is a plus

Responsibilities

• Receive and sort materials
• Test concrete cylinders
• Testing of proctor and other soil samples
• Process soil and aggregate samples
• Maintain work equipment
