About The Position
Kleinfelder's Construction Services team is looking for interns for Construction Materials & Geotechnical Lab Testing Services in their Ontario, CA office. This role is ideal for students pursuing an undergraduate degree in engineering or physical science. The intern will assist in lab testing for construction materials and geotechnical classification testing under the supervision of experienced PE's and certified staff. Hands-on training will be provided. The intern will prepare daily reports and data sheets and may perform various tasks as directed by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in engineering or physical science.
- General knowledge of MS Office, including Word and Excel, is preferred.
- Valid driver's license.
- Clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Must satisfactorily complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check following an offer.
Responsibilities
- Assist in lab testing for construction materials and geotechnical classification testing.
- Prepare daily reports and data sheets.
- Perform various tasks at the discretion of the supervisor.
