Applicants shall have an education or professional background in construction inspection services and have experience evaluating soils, concrete, and asphalt, as they relate to site construction. Experience in flexible pavement construction, report writing and computer skills are required.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of material testing or construction experience.
- High School Graduate
- Experience in Flexible Asphalt construction
- Valid Drivers License
- Ability to life 40-50 pounds.
- Report writing and computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- Level 1A - Hotmix Plant Specialist, SB 102 – Field Specialist (Must be able to obtain SB 101, SB 201, & SB 202 certifications.)
Responsibilities
- Management of construction materials projects.
- Likely management of field staff.
- Field and laboratory testing of construction materials.
- Maintaining required certifications.
- Review of daily field/ data reports.
- Coordinating with clients and Certerra engineering and professional staff.
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, and meeting deadlines.
- Travel to client facilities as needed.
- Report writing and computer skills.
- Client management and business development.
- Financial responsibilities for materials testing and inspection projects.
