About The Position

Geometrics is seeking multiple Construction Managers – Utilities Projects, Road Projects, and Vertical Construction to support key infrastructure improvements on airport projects. The construction manager oversees utility, roads and vertical construction projects across the airport. This role will support both new construction and renovation efforts, ensuring all work aligns with project specifications, regulatory standards, and stakeholder expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Architecture, Project or Construction Management or related.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in managing projects of similar size, type and complexity.
  • Familiarity with building codes and standards, and ability to interpret design documents and contract specifications
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations, airport safety standards, and environmental compliance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software and MS Office Suites.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous aviation project/construction management experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all phases of vertical construction within concourse and terminal areas, ensuring compliance with approved plans, specifications, and regulatory standards
  • Coordinate daily activities with contractors and a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Review and evaluate contractor schedules, monitor progress, and identify potential risks or delays
  • Support the change management process by assessing proposed changes and facilitating necessary approvals
  • Navigate and interpret design documents, technical specifications, and contract requirements with accuracy and confidence
  • Ensure construction activities meet minimum code requirements and quality standards
  • Communicate effectively across teams to resolve field issues and maintain project momentum
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to decision-making and issue resolution
  • Provide field oversight and documentation, including daily inspection reports and tracking of deficiencies
  • Collaborate with inspectors and project managers to verify installed quantities and support pay application reviews
  • Be available for occasional night-time work as required by project schedules or operational need
