Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory is hiring a Construction Manager within the Facilities division. The Facilities Division supports Berkeley Lab through maintenance of buildings, utilities, and grounds; project design and construction; workspace planning; custodial services; and transportation. In this role, you will independently manage planning and oversight of construction and building maintenance projects performed by subcontractors. Responsibilities include overseeing daily construction activities; ensuring safety, permitting, and quality compliance; developing project scope, schedule, and budgets with subject matter experts; managing procurement; and administering maintenance and service contracts. Reporting to the Operations Subcontractor Management Supervisor, you will coordinate with Facilities Maintenance & Operations, Facilities Engineering, and other stakeholders to ensure safe, compliant, and successful project execution.
