About The Position

Technologist, Inc. is seeking a Construction Manager to provide assistance and technical support in the identification, development, and preparation of FSRM, Non Appropriated Funds (NAF), customer-funded programs, and MILCON projects. The work location is Peterson Space Force Base (SFB), Colorado Springs, CO. The position is full-time and on-site at Peterson SFB.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent related professional experience.
At least five (5) years’ of experience as a facility design engineer or construction project manager.

Nice To Haves

Minimum of 2 years of Department of the Air Force (DAF) Civil Engineering experience.
Comprehensive knowledge of engineering principles and analytical techniques to support complex engineering assignments.
Experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

Perform all required Enterprise Business System (EBS) data entry for assigned projects, as required.
Conduct NEXGEN IT, Comprehensive Planning Platform (CPP) and SMS data entry, data quality assurance & data quality control in support of 21 CES and its geographically separated units (GSUs).
Define project requirements, prepare cost estimates, draft DD Form 1391s, and other components of the acquisition package for government approval and submission.
Define project requirements, ensure compliance with Federal, State, local and Air/Space Force regulations.
Define project requirements, prepare cost estimates, and draft statements of work and other components of the acquisition package for government approval and submission.
Define project requirements, ensure compliance with Federal, State, local and Air/Space Force regulations.
Determine the MILCON Facility Replacement Cost for a facility in accordance with AFI 32-1032, as required. Assess applicable cost basis, and investigate applicable recent, relevant project data that could serve to improve the fidelity of the cost estimate.
Provide construction oversight as necessary to ensure compliance with Statement of Work, design drawings and applicable code requirements, and provide feedback to the government.
Identify any issues on site during construction and assist 21 CES-Peterson with recommendations for resolution.
