About The Position

This is a federal contracting opportunity that we, the Company, are bidding on and has not been awarded. The availability of this position is contingent upon successful award of the contract. We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager Representative (CMR) to provide professional technical oversight, quality control, and administrative support to the National Park Service. This position will replace Wastewater Treatment Plant at Tuolumne Meadows.

Requirements

  • Minimum four-year Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, Construction Management, or other related field from an ABET accredited engineering college or university.
  • Must demonstrate a minimum of five (5) years of relevant construction and/or engineering work experience
  • Documentation of the required Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30-hour Construction Safety training.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety
  • Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C)
  • Certifications shall remain current throughout performance.
  • Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Real ID or Passport in order to undergo commercial airfare travel
  • Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ProjectTeams construction management software is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily on-site observation of construction activities to monitor quality, document material deliveries, and verify that work is performed in accordance with contract documents.
  • Review and process submittents, RFIs, schedules, payrolls, payment requests and facilitate weekly progress meetings
  • Coordinate and document preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections; monitor safety compliance, report any accidents immediately and maintain comprehensive project records
  • Develop scope descriptions for contract modifications, perform field investigations, review baseline schedules and Time Impact Analyses (TIAs); prepare Independent Government Estimates (IGEs)
