JMT is currently seeking a Construction Engineer to support and manage our Construction Inspection business and deliver Construction Management services within the Northeast Pennsylvania region.
Requirements
- Strong computer literacy skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Practical construction management capabilities
- Active driver’s license and reliable motor vehicle
- Must successfully complete and pass JMT's Motor Vehicle screening
- Experience working with local clients including PennDOT, PTC, and local municipalities and entities
- 20+ years of experience working in the Construction Management, Construction Inspection or Construction Engineering field
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (or BSCET or BSCM or closely related field)
- Professional Engineering license in PA
Responsibilities
- Assist both the CM and CI Directors with marketing and business development for transportation construction projects
- Assist with project management
- Assist with project QA/QC in the assigned region
- Maintains and builds client relationships
- Assist the CM/CI Directors with training and developing our field staff, and conduct performance reviews for staff
- Provide Construction Management Services to clients in the Northeast PA region
- Assist design disciplines with constructability questions/issues
- Perform other related duties as assigned
