Construction Manager, Railroad

Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma
- 5+ years of general construction experience
- Ability to travel 90% of the time
- Valid drivers license required
- Must successfully complete background check and drug screening
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Nice To Haves
- Experience in highway or railroad construction
- Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, HeadLight, etc.)
- Construction Management or Civil Engineering Degree
Responsibilities
- Inspect and oversee construction work to ensure that procedures and materials comply with plans and specifications
- Perform quality control inspection and documentation on railroad projects
- Material testing oversight
- Construction cost tracking and estimates
- Coordinate between construction project stakeholders
- Research plans, specification, material testing procedures and local agency requirements
- Prepare and maintain daily and periodic documentation and records throughout the project
- Visits to project sites to inspect and document field work performed
- Preparation of technical reports
- Provide observation and inspection of the construction work and contractor operations
- Maintains the daily log of construction and inspection activities and compares progress reports
- Maintains construction safety practices and work methods for compliance
