Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Construction Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to work on a large Rail and Transit project in the Philadelphia, PA area. This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team. Requirements

  • Applicant shall be a Licensed Design Professional or Certified CM Professional.
  • Minimum of 15 years overall experience or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 8 years or equivalent experience in coordinating construction activities for expansion of yard or facilities and shop construction or renovation projects of major public transportation.
  • Must have proven abilities to manage a multidisciplinary team.
  • Must have proven abilities to interface with Client and Design-Builder teams.
  • Must also conduct assessment and provide recommendations to the Client as requested.
  • Will be the POC (including meetings) for Client communications with the Design Builder Contractor including RFI’s, Potential Change Orders, Client requests, Quality and Safety issues and Contract and daily reports.
  • Ability to read and understand CPM Schedules.
  • Have a basic understanding of the Applicable Building Codes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a multidisciplinary team.
  • Interface with Client and Design-Builder teams.
  • Conduct assessment and provide recommendations to the Client as requested.
  • Serve as the Point of Contact (POC) for Client communications with the Design Builder Contractor, including RFI’s, Potential Change Orders, Client requests, Quality and Safety issues, and Contract and daily reports.
  • Review and approve Daily and other Reports.
  • Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
