This role will help support successful project delivery through construction coordination, constructability review, quality assurance/quality control site visits, schedule organization, submittal review, and cost estimating.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience serving as a liaison between project managers, contractors, and project representatives/inspectors.
  • Ability to attend on-site construction meetings and pre-construction meetings.
  • Ability to periodically visit construction sites for QA/QC.
  • Ability to review construction plans and contract documents for constructability.
  • Ability to coordinate and organize construction schedules and submittal reviews.
  • Ability to prepare cost estimates.
  • Ability to drive to and from various outside meetings.
  • Ability to inspect water/wastewater facility project sites.
  • Ability to work under exposure to inclement weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Serving as a liaison between project managers, contractors, and project representatives/inspectors.
  • Organize or attending on-site construction meetings and pre-construction meetings as required.
  • Periodically visiting construction sites for QA/QC.
  • Reviewing construction plans and contract documents for constructability.
  • Coordinating and organizing construction schedules and submittal reviews.
  • Preparing cost estimates.
  • Driving to and from outside meetings and inspecting water/wastewater facility project sites.
  • Working outdoors as needed, including exposure to inclement weather conditions.
  • Reviewing the contractors’ estimate of quantities to verify payment accuracy and approve said estimates
