About The Position

Kennedy Jenks is looking for ambitious achievers to join our 2027 Kickstart Internship Program in Temecula, CA! Your work will support project teams providing solutions for water resources, water quality, wastewater and water treatment, and recycled water planning and implementation issues that our water environment, transportation, and industrial sector clients are facing. You will have opportunities to get involved in significant projects throughout the United States. These projects may involve field work, technical report preparation and calculations, pre-construction conditions documentation, design plans and specifications.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or other related field
  • Completion of two years of qualified study

Nice To Haves

  • GIS or CAD experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Participating in field work (field verification of existing conditions, confirming as-built conditions, written and photographic summary of field work)
  • Preparing technical reports and calculations
  • Compiling documentation
  • Assisting with the preparation and interpretation of plans and specifications
  • Interacting with clients, designers, owners, contractors, inspectors, and authorities to support project activities
  • Monitoring project communications between contractor, Owner, and Engineer
  • Attending construction and related project meetings and developing and distributing timely meeting agendas and minutes.
  • Receiving mentorship and advising
