About The Position

O2EPCM, Inc. is seeking a Construction Logistics Specialist II for an onsite, full-time position in Los Angeles, CA. This role involves managing and implementing temporary wayfinding strategies, assessing signage quality, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams on complex building programs, particularly in airport environments. The specialist will analyze project schedules, design plans, and signage needs, ensuring effective user experience and adherence to standards. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office is required, along with strong communication and visualization skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Aviation, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Planning or other related technical field.
  • 10 years or more experience, preferably on airport building programs or similar complex building programs.
  • Proficient in reading, interpreting, and analyzing project schedules, Gantt charts, and design plans.
  • In-depth understanding of signage materials, fabrication methods, color theory, typography, and font specifications.
  • Knowledge of signage, temporary wayfinding, and mapping industry best practices.
  • Strong visualization skills.
  • Hands-on experience with installation procedures.
  • Skilled in layout and information design.
  • Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Bluebeam.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, Publisher, PowerPoint).
  • Must pass a federal background check.
  • LAWA Badge is required.
  • Must provide proof of residency in Southern California.

  • Optional Certifications may include AAAE, LEED, PMP, PE, AICP etc. or any other relevant Professional Licensure or Certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Create, implement, and oversee temporary wayfinding strategies to support pedestrian flow and user experience.
  • Assess signage quality, visual appeal, and adherence to standards, recommending appropriate sign types.
  • Manage multiple collaborative wayfinding projects with multidisciplinary teams, coordinating across various disciplines and meeting deadlines under pressure.
  • Read, interpret, and analyze project schedules, Gantt charts, and design plans to evaluate signage needs.
  • Understand signage materials, fabrication methods, color theory, typography, and font specifications, as well as industry best practices for signage and temporary wayfinding.
  • Review project submittals, Phasing Plans, and Site Logistics Plans for wayfinding impacts.
  • Develop concepts, location plans, and proposed wayfinding paths of travel with high visual impact.
  • Plan, produce, and install temporary wayfinding that translates complex information into easy-to-understand visuals.
  • Conduct site walks to evaluate signage effectiveness and update plans as needed.
  • Track phasing for production and installation schedules across multiple projects.
  • Verify the quality and consistency of signage and wayfinding elements.
  • Design layouts and information, including formatting wayfinding plans, maps, newsletters, flyers, stakeholder updates, and presentation materials.
  • Communicate technical or field-based information clearly to project teams and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Utilize Adobe Creative Suite and Bluebeam for creating, editing, and reviewing visual materials and layouts.
  • Use Microsoft Office tools for project communication, scheduling, and documentation.
