About The Position

This is a logistical support position to the Maintenance/Engineering Department. This position assists in the capital project construction and maintenance construction through planning, scheduling of resources and the requisitioning of material.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
5 years' experience in maintenance, construction, or operations, or assessed as qualified by the Assistant Maintenance Manager and or the Maintenance / Engineering Manager
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organization skills
Working knowledge of mechanical repairs, welding practices, pipefitting, carpentry, instrumentation and electrical
Experience with Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word
Successful completion of training requirements as outlined by the Maintenance Department
Successfully completed and passed a Functional Job Capacity Evaluation (FCE)

Nice To Haves

BS degree in an engineering or technical field is preferred
Working knowledge of Primavera planning software is preferred

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean and well-organized workspace at all times
Keep safe work habits as the highest priority at all times
Strive to develop working relationships with all co-workers, customers and associates
Generate and distribute departmental reports
Maintain equipment files
Maintain master data and records in SAP
Analyze SAP work orders pertaining to construction work for manpower, material and equipment requirements
Assure proper coding of SAP work orders
Maintain work order backlog and work order status
Requisition material and services
Coordinate work between different crafts and planner groups
Liaison between Operations, Maintenance / Engineering and contractors to assure proper permitting and scheduling of work
Verify completion of work orders and document services and repairs
Plan and develop daily work schedules for ERI Crafts and Contractors
Coordinate unit shutdown and Turnaround (TAR) planning and scheduling activities
Generate piping, alteration and repair (PAR) Checklists
Responsible for grounds maintenance
Assist with various tasks as needed and directed by Assistant Maintenance Manager
Available for callout by Maintenance / Engineering Department
