About The Position

The Construction Landscape Laborer works under the direction of the Foreman to support commercial landscape installation projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This position is ideal for hardworking individuals who enjoy outdoor work, operating tools and equipment, and being part of a construction-focused team environment. Candidates must be comfortable performing physically demanding work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Requirements

Valid driver license a plus.
Some ability to read, write and comprehend English.
Ability to read, write and comprehend Spanish, a plus.
Basic to intermediate math.
Ability to define problems, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to adjust to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail

Responsibilities

Interpretation of blueprints, schematics, specifications, materials, take-offs, as builds and controller charts.
Layout, installation, piping and control wiring
Installation of landscape, IE paths, fences, courtyards, structures.
Operation, care, use and maintenance of all hand tools, power tools and construction equipment related to trade
Application of methods and techniques of handling, distributing Storage and delivery of material and equipment.
Soil amendments, treatment and Tilling
Layout, installation and establishment of plants, trees, shrubs, ground covers, turf, plant identification, etc.
Application of job safety and rigging and moving loads.
Other duties as assigned
