About The Position

Greatario is growing, and we’re looking for dedicated, safety-focused Construction Technicians to join our field construction team. If you enjoy hands-on work, being part of a crew and building something that tangible and lasts, this could be the opportunity for you. Leading edge technology, engineering support, specialized construction methods and innovative designs have allowed Greatario to become one of the largest field erected tank builders in Canada. Our reputation has been built on the foundations of hundreds of successful installations. Greatario supplies turnkey solutions working with consulting engineering firms and their clients.

Requirements

• Ability to work within a team based environment focused on safety, productivity, quality and customer service.
• Previous experience in Construction
• Effective time management skills, ability to work well under pressure
• Valid Class G driver’s license or ability to get to crew meeting point
• Comfortable with physically demanding work
• Comfortable working outdoors for long periods of time in all types of weather
• Desire to learn new skills
• Comfortable with travel

Nice To Haves

• Understanding of both oral and written instructions

Responsibilities

• Working on active construction sites building municipal, industrial and agricultural liquid storage systems.
• Operating power tools and equipment to assemble tank systems, including impact tools, torque wrenches and caulking equipment.
• Working with a field crew (typically 5 team members including the Foreman) to coordinate daily tasks and keep projects moving safely and efficiently.
• Supporting project timelines through reliable execution, teamwork and strong work ethic.
