About The Position
We are seeking dependable, hard-working Construction Laborers to support our surface mining projects. In this role, you will perform physical tasks requiring strength, stamina, and a strict commitment to safety regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of construction or heavy labor experience.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, climb ladders, and stand or walk for long periods in diverse weather conditions.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, possible nights, and overtime as project demands require.
Nice To Haves
- Current MSHA surface (Part 48) certification is highly preferred, but training can be provided for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear debris, excavating trenches, build fence and use of hand tools.
- General Labor duties.
- Materials Handling: Load, unload, and distribute heavy construction materials, including pipe, and piping supplies.
- Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain construction tools, machinery, and vehicles to ensure safe operation.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all MSHA (Mine Safety and Health Administration) regulations and company safety policies.
