Construction Laborer
About The Position
FLORIDA COASTAL PAVING A PART OF THE DELAWARE VALLEY PAVING FAMILY IS LOOKING TO ADD A CONSTRUCTION LABORER SPECIALIST TO OUR STAFF IN PHOENIXVILLE AND TAMPA, FLORIDA. A NATIONAL PARKING LOT CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE COMPANY SERVING COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL CLIENTS ACROSS THE COUNTRY, DELAWARE VALLEY PAVING AND FLORIDA COASTAL PAVING IS A FAMILY-OWNED ORGANIZATION COMMITTED TO DEVELOPING OUR PEOPLE, STRENGTHENING LEADERSHIP, AND DELIVERING CONSISTENT, HIGH-QUALITY RESULTS THROUGH DISCIPLINED PROCESSES AND A STRONG COMPANY CULTURE. WE ARE LOOKING FOR A SKILLED CONSTRUCTION LABORER TO JOIN OUR TEAM. POST OFFER PRE-HIRE CANDIDATES MUST UNDERGO A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG TEST.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a laborer and operator, preferred
- Experience with paving equipment and techniques, preferred
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment
- Perform manual labor tasks, such as digging, shoveling, and lifting heavy objects
- Assist with paving projects, including laying asphalt and operating paving equipment
- Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance as needed
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
