About The Position

LION is an award-winning, high-growth company that manufactures and sells innovative fire and safety training products globally, devoted to utilizing smart technology to develop life-saving products. The company is seeking a full-time Construction Laborer to join its Operations team. This hands-on role involves supporting skilled tradespeople in the construction of custom Fire Safety Training Trailers and Fire Training Props. The ideal candidate should possess a foundational knowledge of construction, a strong work ethic, and the ability to follow direction within a team-based manufacturing environment.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Prior experience in construction, carpentry, or a related trades
General knowledge of construction tasks, common tools and tape measure proficiency
Ability to follow verbal instructions and work effectively as part of a team
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor
Willingness to Travel ~10%

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with construction drawings or blueprints
Experience with basic electrical construction
Experience with welding, brazing, or propane gas piping

Responsibilities

Assist skilled tradespeople with carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other general construction tasks
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and saws in accordance with common safety practices
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
Perform general labor tasks to support production schedules and project deadlines
