Our on-site CA team is seeking a highly motivated On-Site Construction Administration Intern specializing in Interior Design to join our team. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to gain valuable experience in the construction industry, specifically focusing on interior design projects. The selected candidate will work closely with experienced professionals, actively participating in various aspects of construction administration on-site. We work with our clients around the world to create, support, and enhance smart, safe and sustainable places where people live, work, learn and thrive. Places impact on the quality of people’s lives. Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Revit and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Basic understanding and ability to read construction documents.
  • Minimum of four years of formal interior design education from a CIDA accredited university.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with team members and external partners.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately document and report on-site observations.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Self-motivated with a passion for interior design and construction.

Responsibilities

  • Accompany senior staff on site walks to assess progress, quality, and adherence to design specifications.
  • Compile detailed reports based on site visits, documenting observations, issues, and progress.
  • Identify and flag any observed issues, coordinating between different parties (contractors, designers, project managers) to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Assist in responding to Requests for Information (RFIs) by gathering necessary information and communicating effectively with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support the submittal process by reviewing documents, tracking approvals, and maintaining organized records.
