The Construction Inspector is responsible for conducting comprehensive field inspections across airport building and terminal construction projects. This position ensures that construction activities are completed in accordance with approved contract documents, applicable building codes, safety regulations, LAWA requirements, and project-specific standards. The Construction Inspector will monitor daily field activities, document construction progress, identify deficiencies and safety concerns, review project documentation, verify completed work, and coordinate with contractors, engineers, testing agencies, and project stakeholders. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of large-scale building construction, excellent documentation skills, and the ability to independently interpret plans, specifications, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and other construction documents.
