Requirements

Knowledge of the practices used, and the equipment required on construction projects, particularly in the areas of treatment plants, earthwork, utilities, and roadway construction.
1+ years of relevant experience preferred.
Strong ability to work independently and take initiative.
A clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Inspect, observe, and ensure construction projects—including road construction, treatment plants, utilities, mass grading and excavation are completed in accordance with contract plans and specifications.
Interpret plans and specifications to contractors and clients.
Prepare and maintain records of plans, inspections, letters, and reports used in connection with construction observation and inspection.
Identify contract changes and assist in preparation of change orders.
Travel to project sites as required.
