About The Position

RK&K is seeking talented Roadway and Bridge Inspectors to work in and around Memphis, Tennessee. Our Construction, Engineering, and Inspection Division manages and supports mid-large CEI design, design-build, and inspection projects across the USA. Inspectors should have 2+ years of experience working on DOT and/or other Local agency construction programs. The ideal candidate for this position will work independently with Tennessee Department of Transportation and contractors.

Requirements

• 2 years of prior experience providing QA services
• Candidates must be trustworthy and responsible
• Must have a solid background in mathematics
• Understand how to read and follow test specifications
• Excellent driving record

Responsibilities

• Work on various roadway and bridge projects within the region’s geographic area
• Oversight of contractor’s quality control operations
• Quality Assurance sampling and testing
• Completion of Daily Sampling and Testing Reports
• Data input in SiteManager/LIMS
• Daily communication with client, contractor, and field project personnel
