About The Position

At Rinker Design Associates LLC (RDA), we’re seeking talented Construction Inspectors to join our team and help shape the future of Virginia’s transportation network. This role involves overseeing major infrastructure projects, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency, enforcing VDOT standards and federal regulations, collaborating with engineers, contractors, and agency personnel, and solving real-world challenges.

Requirements

VDOT inspection experience, including knowledge of roadway, structure, and bridge construction.
VDOT certifications in soil and aggregate, asphalt, concrete, pavement marking, and more.
Strong Work Ethic: A dedication to quality, safety, and timely project completion.
VDOT Soil and Aggregate Field Compaction
VDOT Asphalt Field Level I & II
VDOT Hydraulic Cement Concrete Field (ACI Concrete Field Tech Grade I)
VDOT Pavement Marking
VDOT ESCCC or DEQ Erosion and Sediment Control Inspector
VDOT Nuclear Gauge Safety Training
VDOT Guardrail, Surface Treatment
VDOT Intermediate Work Zone Safety Training
OSHA 10-Hour Construction
Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving eligibility requirements, including a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review.
Must not require employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
