About The Position

Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is currently seeking full-time experienced Construction Inspectors for our Alliance, OH office. Qualified candidates must have prior construction inspection experience and relevant industry certifications. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Requirements

Reliable vehicle, good driving record and valid driver's license
Physical capability to carry equipment/samples >50 lbs on uneven ground
High school diploma/GED with good writing and math skills
Possess one or more of the following current certifications: NICET, ACI, APNGA, NETTCP, ICC, FPO

Roadway construction experience

Responsibilities

Observe and document construction activities to assure compliance with technical specifications
Monitor and test the moisture and density of soils using a nuclear density testing gauge
Testing of concrete for slump, air content and unit weight
Testing of asphalt for temperature and compaction
Assist laboratory and drilling personnel as requested
Use civil drawings, project specifications and geotechnical reports effectively
Complete daily reports, testing documents, timesheets and expense reports completely and in a timely manner
Handle and maintain company assigned equipment
