About The Position

Intertek is seeking a Construction Inspector - Waterline, Sewer and Pavement Restoration to join their Professional Service Industries (PSI) team in Pittsburgh, PA. This role is responsible for ensuring quality, safety, and compliance on critical infrastructure projects, specifically focusing on waterline, sewer, and pavement restoration. PSI is a leading provider of construction assurance, testing, and inspection in civil and commercial construction.

Requirements

Proven experience in waterline and sewer construction as well as pavement restoration inspections.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and safety protocol.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record.

6 months of construction related experience
ACI Certification
NECEPT Certification
PennDOT Certification

Responsibilities

Inspect and monitor waterline installation, repair and replacement projects for compliance with plans, specifications and safety standards.
Oversee pavement restoration activities ensuring proper materials, compaction and finish quality.
Document daily progress, prepare inspection reports and communicate findings to the supervisor.
