What you’ll be able to do: Prudent Engineering is seeking a Construction Inspector, NICET II with bridge or highway experience for a position in Buffalo and surrounding areas, to start in April/May of 2026. The Construction inspector, NICET II, is responsible for overseeing and inspecting construction projects at various stages to ensure compliance with project plans, project specifications and regulations.
Requirements
- NICET II certification or equivalent experience
- Prior New York State DOT and/or New York State Thruway inspection experience or similar experience working on bridge or Highway construction projects
- OSHA 10 certification & knowledge of safety procedures and practices related to construction sites
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to and on the construction sites
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency in computer aided project administration is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
