About The Position

A Southland Holdings company is currently accepting resumes for Construction General Laborer for our large heavy civil project located in Tampa, FL. Essential duties include climbing ladders into and out of earthen pits/trenches, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, stooping, squatting, lifting and climbing, full range of motion and use of arms and legs. Must work in all weather conditions, be prepared for both extreme hot/cold. Must be able to work independently, maintain good schedule, available for OT. Must have basic knowledge of heavy civil construction. Successful applicants must have a valid driver's license (Class A CDL w/ Tanker Endorsement preferred) and past a DOT physical, drug test and background checks. Requirements

Construction experience in underground utility, heavy highway, bridges, dirt work, and/or welding, etc.
Trenchless experience working around specialized equipment such as Tunnel Boring, Guided Boring and/or Auger Boring Systems
Basic knowledge of heavy civil construction
Valid driver's license (Class A CDL w/ Tanker Endorsement preferred)
Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug test and background checks

Nice To Haves

Heavy equipment experience preferred
