Construction Foreman
About The Position
The Construction Foreman is responsible for effectively and efficiently leading a crew of installers. This role requires a high understanding and passion for the company's direction, employees, and culture. The foreman will coordinate and manage the installation of assigned projects, both in-town and out-of-town, while effectively communicating with installers, clients, and contractors. The position also involves field training for new installers and other foremen, contributing to the development and implementation of processes, procedures, and job duties, and delivering fair crew evaluations. Maintaining professionalism, being reachable outside normal business hours, attending scheduled meetings, and inspiring the best in others are key aspects of this role. The foreman ensures projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to plan, and is responsible for maintaining company-issued equipment and technology.
Requirements
- Experience with Google platform and field software
- Able to perform mathematical calculations with speed and accuracy
- Ability to accurately read tape measures and construction drawings
- Relevant experience in construction, installation, and leading field crews
- Experience with power tools, hand tools, lasers and levels
- Proven ability to effectively perform under pressure while problem solving
- MUST BE OSHA 30 Certified
- Legal documentation to work
Nice To Haves
- Certifications with aerial lifts and forklifts preferred
