About The Position

Direct Communications is seeking a dedicated Construction Crew Foreman to lead their construction efforts in delivering exceptional fiber optic services to rural communities. This role involves leading daily productivity for the installation, repair, and maintenance of the fiber optic network, fostering a respectful and safety-driven environment, operating heavy equipment, troubleshooting job site challenges, and accurately documenting progress and materials. The ideal candidate is a natural leader who thrives outdoors and takes pride in building the infrastructure that connects communities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of leading a crew in utility construction.
  • Drilling rig experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
  • Ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs routinely.
  • Ability to follow prints and maps.
  • Basic competency in computer-based environments.
  • Willingness to travel throughout our service footprint.
  • Steadfast dedication to safety protocols.

  • CDL is highly preferred.
