Construction Foreman
About The Position
The Construction Foreman will coordinate all daily crew activities to maximize productivity and quality on civil construction sites. This role requires the ability to understand plans, grade, and specifications, and involves performing work safely while preventing unsafe actions. The Foreman will also be responsible for daily coordination with team members, sub-contractors, trucking, and suppliers, and will utilize HCSS Heavy Job for tracking daily quantities, production reports, and timecards. Communication with project managers/estimators and engineers is also a key part of this role.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in construction with emphasis on residential, commercial and heavy highway civil construction
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to bend, stoop, lift, push, pull and be on your feet for long periods of time
- Assure all safety procedures are followed
- Must pass a pre employment drug screening and background check
Nice To Haves
- Experience in operation of loader, blade, excavator, dozer skid steer and rollers
- CDL
