The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) is seeking to hire a Construction Field Inspector for its Asset & Capital Management (A&CM) Division. This division manages the Authority's capital, sustainability, and resiliency programs, overseeing a large capital projects portfolio and property modernization efforts. The A&CM Division aims to preserve and modernize NYCHA buildings through strategic planning, design standards, innovative financing, and effective project management. The Capital Programs Department, within A&CM, is responsible for the end-to-end management of over 500 active modernization projects across the city, focusing on essential building systems, interiors, exteriors, apartments, and grounds. Current projects include upgrades to heating systems, elevators, roofs, facades, security systems, entryways, flood protection, community centers, lighting, and playgrounds. Projects vary in delivery methods and budgets, ranging from $100,000 to $100 million.
