About The Position

Build the Future With Us - This role supports large‑scale marine and heavy civil construction initiatives across Canada, with rotational field work (two weeks on / two weeks off) at a remote project site near Squamish, BC. This is hands‑on, high‑impact field engineering where your technical skill and in‑field decision‑making directly shape project success from concept through execution. This is a temporary role running from May 2026 to February 2027.

Requirements

  • A degree in Environmental, Civil, Geological Engineering, or Construction Management (B.A.Sc. or equivalent).
  • 3–8 years of progressive experience in field engineering across diverse construction assignments.
  • Ability to travel 100% and work night shifts when required.
  • Proven ability to apply engineering judgment in the field and adapt to dynamic site conditions.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and energized by hands‑on, field‑driven work.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated experience supporting marine construction or pile installation projects is an asset.
  • Strong digital literacy with engineering software, field reporting tools, and scheduling platforms is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver detailed engineering design inputs, specification packages, and field‑ready construction documentation.
  • Develop and support project work methods, sequencing, and constructability planning for marine and civil construction projects.
  • Monitor pile installation activities, maintain pile logs, and verify compliance with engineering requirements.
  • Support field-based project health & safety coordination in partnership with operational and corporate H&S teams.
  • Contribute to field execution planning, scheduling, and progress tracking using platforms such as MS Project or Primavera P6.
  • Work closely with construction crews to troubleshoot technical challenges and ensure constructible solutions are applied.
  • Partner with senior staff on business development initiatives and proposal inputs.
  • Participate in rotational deployment: two weeks on, two weeks off at remote project sites.
