About The Position

We are seeking an Estimator with 2 years technical or business degree and estimating experience to submit estimates for bids. Responsible for understanding, upholding, and promoting the Everus 4EVER Strategy. Employees | Value | Execution | Relationships.

Requirements

• Completion of an electrical training program
• Two years technical or business degree or equivalent combinations of education and estimating experience
• Five years experience as electrical estimator preferable
• Requires the knowledge of electrical construction theory.
• Excellent human relations skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Demonstrate conceptual estimates and financial analytical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Electrical construction experience or construction management degree
• Estimator/Project supervisor

Responsibilities

• Provide technical estimation of electrical projects from bid preparation through job close out documentation to the customer.
• Quantity takeoff entry into estimating software
• Solicitation and review vendor and subcontractor quotations
• Review current material prices levels review and estimate addenda as required
• Visit site and/or attend site walk meeting.
• Review big/construction schedule
• Initial review of contract if included in bid documents
• Draft and submit proposal documents
• Follow post bid closeout procedures
• Attend weekly estimating team meetings
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
