Requirements

Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a landscape/construction estimator.
Construction estimating experience required.
Experienced with takeoff and estimating software.
Intermediate to advanced skill level in Excel and mathematics.
Extremely detailed and strong work ethic.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Must be a team player and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Landscape construction estimating is preferred.
OnCenter, and Timberline a plus.
OST & Sage Estimating experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Review construction documents and understand scope of work to bid.
Execute take-offs of construction documents in the Onscreen takeoff program.
Input take-offs into sage estimating program.
Solicit and obtain pricing for materials and subcontractors.
Determine the cost of all material, labor, equipment, and subcontractors to complete the project.
Inform immediate supervisor of any observed inaccuracies or omissions in quoted items or computer database.
Prepare cost analysis by capturing all material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs required for installation of projects.
Attend meetings as required.
