General Contractor specializing in Multifamily rehabs/renovations looking for an Estimator with experience working on large-scale Multifamily Construction projects.

Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree in construction management, architecture or engineering preferred, but not required
- experience with Timberline a plus
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all estimating and budget development to include: Unit quantity estimates and pricing of the work for entire project
- Soliciting vendors (RFP’s) and subcontractors for proposals for the construction work
- Reviewing plans to develop and clarify scope of work
- Reviewing and comparing the scope of work and pricing for the vendor proposals
- Negotiating subcontractor agreements
- Reviewing & negotiating change order requests
- Preparing monthly construction draw requests
- Developing historical cost data base
- Complete material and labor unit quantity takeoffs using corporate guidelines
- Analyze quantity takeoffs and unit costs for all trades including site work and vertical construction.
- Understand unit costing and quantity estimating of construction materials.
- Assist in the feasibility, value engineering, bidding, and contracting process.
- Assist the Senior Project Manager in creating contractor bid packages for the projects.
- Assist in the negotiations of pricing and quantities with multiple contractors to obtain the best pricing for the highest quality materials and services.
- Conduct unit costs analysis.
- Develop a unit cost data base.
