About The Position

Turning Steel Structures into Game-Changing Spaces. You don’t guess – you calculate. You’re the kind of person who finds satisfaction in accuracy, who can spot a missing line item or a mismatched spec before anyone else. You like clean spreadsheets, clear drawings, and the logic behind every number. If you’re ready to learn from the best and help build a smarter modular future, we want you on our estimating team. ROXBOX is looking for a Construction Estimator to join our Houston team. We're open to a range of experience – from someone early in their estimating career who's ready to learn and grow, to an experienced estimator who can independently develop complex bids and help improve our estimating systems. What matters most is technical aptitude, accuracy, curiosity, and the ability to independently work through complex project information to turn project requirements into accurate, buildable estimates.

Requirements

At least 1-3 years of experience in construction estimating, project management, project coordination, project engineering, or related fields (internships count)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings
Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
Analytical and detail-oriented – you notice the small things that make a big difference
Organized and comfortable managing multiple estimates and deadlines
Curious and resourceful – you want to understand the 'why' behind the numbers
Able to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments

Nice To Haves
