About The Position
FOXXSTEM is an engineering design, construction management, and program management firm based in Washington, DC. We work on transportation, water, and energy projects that directly impact our communities. FOXXSTEM is hiring Construction Engineering Inspectors with roadway and/or utility experience for a wide range of construction projects. We are looking for minimum of 3+ years of experience in a related role but prefer more seasoned and experienced applicants.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a related role
- Eligible to work in the United States
Nice To Haves
- More seasoned and experienced applicants
- Roadway and/or utility experience
- Preferred certifications: Asphalt, Soils & Aggregate, Concrete, OSHA, HMA, Erosion & Sediment Control
- Candidates with Military experience
Responsibilities
- Conduct field inspections
- Work on various roadway and bridge projects within the region
- Oversight of contractor's quality control operations
- Quality Assurance sampling, testing and reporting
- Data input from Daily Inspection Reports in preferred client software
- Daily communication with client, contractor, and field project personnel
