JMT is ranked #50 on Engineering News-Record’s list of the Top 500 Design Firms. The Construction Management Team is seeking a Construction Engineer for the Fort Pierce, Florida Area. The successful candidate will be responsible for construction engineering, applying general engineering principles and practices to interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate assignments. Immigration sponsorship or support is not available for this position, except for qualified candidates eligible for the TN visa classification.

Requirements

  • Must successfully complete and pass JMT's Motor Vehicle screening
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field from ABET accredited engineering program
  • Engineer-in-training certification
  • 0-5 years of experience in civil engineering or related field
  • Proficient in discipline specific software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to obtain Qualifications/Certifications as required by client

Responsibilities

  • Assist with field inspection and oversight of construction activities
  • Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography and other topographical or geologic data to complete a task
  • Perform data analysis and computations to provide alternate field solutions
  • Assist in managing projects and administering contracts in accordance with client specifications and guidelines
  • Assist with preparing and reviewing project proposals
  • Assist in the preparation of engineering documents and Quality Assurance reviews
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
